Fans and Ventilation

Fans and ventilation solutions are used to remove harmful, toxic or flammable vapours from chemical storage cabinets, gas cabinets and other types of safety cabinets. The right ventilation solution contributes to a safer working environment by reducing exposure to hazardous substances and preventing the build-up of gases and vapours.

We offer ventilation boxes, carbon filter fans, EX-rated fans, as well as compatible carbon filters and connection kits for easy connection to our cabinets and containers.

Which Ventilation Solution Should I Choose?

The right ventilation solution depends on the type of substances being stored, how the cabinet is used and whether it can be connected to an existing ventilation system. If the cabinet can be connected to an extract-air system, a ventilation box or another form of mechanical ventilation is recommended.

In environments where connection to an extract-air system is not available, a carbon filter fan is a practical alternative that cleans the air and allows filtered air to be discharged directly back into the room. For the storage of flammable gases, specially adapted EX-rated fans are required.
