Acid Cabinets

JiWa offers ventilated acid cabinets made from high-pressure laminate, providing a safe and reliable storage solution for corrosive substances. Our acid cabinets are particularly well suited to laboratories, hospitals, schools and industrial facilities, thanks to carefully considered and practical designs.

How should corrosive substances be stored?

Acids and bases are corrosive substances and should be stored in ventilated acid cabinets made from materials that can withstand corrosive chemicals. In addition to the risk of chemical burns, these substances may also present health hazards and contribute to more severe consequences through chemical reactions, for example in the event of a fire.

When handling hazardous chemicals, it is also important that they are stored securely and kept inaccessible to unauthorised persons. Safe and carefully planned storage is therefore important from several different perspectives.

Important: corrosive chemicals should be stored below waist height to reduce the risk of liquid spilling over the user if a container is dropped.
