Acid and Base Cabinet – SS-4Kombi
Description
Ventilated acid and base cabinet for storing both acids and bases in the same cabinet. A fire-insulated chemical storage cabinet can also be placed on top when flammable goods need to be stored and space is limited. The acid cabinets are made from high-pressure laminate. Bottom spill trays are made from polypropylene. Extract air connection on the cabinets (Ø 80 mm).

Corrosive substances must be stored below eye level.
Spill containment:
The bunded area must be able to contain at least 10% of the total stored volume, but always at least the volume of the largest container (MSBFS 2023:2).
Ventilation:
AFS 2023:10 30§: Storage cabinets must have mechanical ventilation where hazardous gases or vapours may be released from the containers.
