Multi-risk Cabinet SK60 – 60-minute Fire Rating
Description
JiWa F60 fire-separating multi-risk cabinets are fire tested for 60 minutes in accordance with EN 14470-1. Note: only one half of the cabinet is fire tested.
Combination cabinets for storing different substances that must not be stored together. The cabinets are divided into several separate sections.
The fire-rated section is equipped with self-closing doors that can be held open during use but close automatically if the room temperature rises by 50°C. The doors are locked separately. A Ø100 mm connection is provided for supply air and connection to extract air. The cabinets are equipped with adjustable shelves and bottom spill trays.
Corrosive substances must not be stored above eye level!
*When storing corrosive substances in the fire-rated section, the relevant sections must be fitted with PVC inserts.
Spill containment:
The bunded area must be able to contain at least 10% of the total stored volume, but always at least the volume of the largest container (MSBFS 2023:2).
Ventilation:
AFS 2023:10 30§: Storage cabinets must have mechanical ventilation where
hazardous gases or vapours may be released from the containers.
Tests – chemical section
– Fire tested for 60 minutes in accordance with EN 14470-1
– Approved in accordance with FM 6050
– Shelf load: 50 kg evenly distributed
– Perforated base plate: 70 kg evenly distributed
Fire rating: According to MSB, cabinets tested in accordance with EN 14470-1 for 60 minutes correspond to fire separation EI 60

EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS: H2205 × W1270 × D615 mm.
ACID SECTION INTERIOR: The upper and middle sections each have one PVC drawer. The lower section has 3 PVC drawers.
CHEMICAL SECTION INTERIOR: 3 adjustable spill-containment shelves and one bottom spill tray.
