JiWaCharge 4 – Wall-mounted E-bike Battery Charging Cabinet
Description
JiWaCharge is a robust charging cabinet designed for safe outdoor storage and charging of e-bike batteries. The cabinet is manufactured in Sweden and constructed from Magnelis steel with C5-rated corrosion protection, providing a long service life even in demanding Nordic environments.
The cabinet compartments are spacious and provide effective through-ventilation. Each compartment is equipped with an IP-rated earthed power outlet and an individual code lock (IP65) for simple and secure charging. The charging cabinet is rated for 16 A and fitted with a 16 A fuse, enabling reliable operation of all charging points simultaneously. It is available with four or eight compartments and can be adapted to your requirements, for example with RFID locking. The charging cabinets are supplied with a 3-metre power cable and plug, routed into the rear through the plinth or from underneath. The cabinet is prepared for anchoring to a rear wall or to the ground.
A practical choice for organisations looking to offer outdoor storage and charging of e-bike batteries, reduce fire risks indoors and strengthen systematic fire safety management.
The charging cabinets can be ordered with a solution for a concrete foundation or a base plate for a concrete barrier. Sheet thickness: frame/roof 1.25 mm; doors/floor 2 mm. As standard, the roof is red RAL 3020 and the cabinet is grey RAL 7011.
The battery cabinets can also be ordered without electrical fittings and with a padlock hasp instead of a code lock. Contact us for more information.
Tests
– CE marked
– Tested by RISE in accordance with IEC/EN 60335-1:2023+A11:2023 for safe charging and use in outdoor environments where uninstructed persons handle the equipment. This standard is used for electrical products intended for the general public and ensures a high level of safety.
– Fire tested by RISE: tested by RISE using real e-bike batteries that were deliberately driven into thermal runaway. The tests showed that the cabinet maintained its structural integrity even during an intense fire.
Lock modes
Private mode
The lock remains locked and opens only with the correct code/tag. Suitable for cabinets with assigned users.
Public mode
The cabinet remains unlocked until a code/tag is entered. After unlocking, the lock returns to the unlocked state for the next user. Suitable for environments with many different users.
