Fire-protected Battery Boxes
Description
JiWa Battery Boxes provide a fire-protected solution for applications such as battery storage and transport. The stackable boxes are easy to handle thanks to their carrying handles and are secured with two robust latches, with provision for a padlock. They are made from impact-resistant plastic and contain mouldable special pads to keep batteries in place, as well as dangerous-goods labels. They have also undergone successful fire testing. Special pads are included with each box; see the individual product for the number supplied.
Approved for UN3480, UN3481, UN3090 and UN3091. These UN approvals meet the requirements of the following ADR packing instructions: P903, P908, P909 and P910
Examples of use:
– UN-approved for lithium batteries in packing groups I and II
– Enables transport on public roads in accordance with applicable regulations
– Suitable for use as a stationary safety container
– Fire-protected storage for applications such as transport and construction sites
– Ideal for safely isolating high-risk batteries, such as defective or quarantined batteries
