F30 Chemical Storage Cabinet – Narrow-depth Double Door (F30-KEM7)
Description
JiWa F30 fire-separating chemical storage cabinets are fire tested for 30 minutes in accordance with EN 14470-1. The cabinets have self-closing doors that can be held open during use but close automatically if the room temperature rises by 50°C. They have Ø100 mm connections for supply and extract air, adjustable shelves and a bottom spill tray. Shelves withstand an evenly distributed load of 50 kg.
For storage of more than 500 litres of flammable goods with a flash point of 30°C or lower, these fire-rated cabinets are an excellent choice. In sensitive environments such as laboratories or hospitals, the corresponding threshold is 50 litres.
Spill containment: Bunding must contain at least 10% of the total stored volume, but always at least the volume of the largest container (MSBFS 2023:2).
Ventilation: AFS 2023:10 30§: Storage cabinets must have mechanical ventilation where hazardous gases or vapours may be released from containers.
