Split cabinets are available when both acids and bases must be stored. A fire-insulated chemical storage cabinet can also be placed on top of SS-4 where flammable goods need to be stored and space is limited. The acid cabinets are made from high-pressure laminate, with polypropylene collection drawers and bottom spill trays.<\/p>\n

Corrosive substances must be stored below eye level.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Spill containment:<\/strong> Bunding must contain at least 10% of the total stored volume, but always at least the volume of the largest container (MSBFS 2023:2).<\/p>\n
